Please see below the latest update from the Environment Agency:
Work on the Arundel Tidal Walls Scheme has come to an end. Complete demobilisation is taking place this week, with the project team, equipment, and staff leaving the site by the end of the week. Memorial Gardens has now reopened for public access.
A small number of workers will return over the next two months to complete final fixings on the river wall. These remaining tasks will mostly be carried out from a workboat in the river, ensuring minimal disruption to the community, there may be low level disruption from noise. We will provide an update with specific dates closer to the time via the mailing list.
The project team extends heartfelt thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding throughout the works. Your support has been greatly appreciated.
