We are inviting nominations for the following three categories:
Community Award – an individual (or a couple) whom you believe has made a sustained and positive contribution to life in Arundel.
Young Person’s Community Commendation – this will be awarded to a young person under the age of 19 for their contribution to the community.
Voluntary Group Community Commendation – this will be awarded to a voluntary group judged to have made the greatest contribution to the community in the last two years.
We will also award up to three Community Recognition certificates which will be presented to people who are nominated but do not receive the Community Award Cup.
You may make more than one nomination for each category. A nomination form is included in the autumn edition of The Bell (distributed to households in Arundel from 30 August 2024), or you can download and complete the form below (attaching additional sheets if necessary). You can also e-mail your nominations to townevents@arundeltowncouncil.gov.uk.
Nominations forms should be returned to Arundel Town Council, The Town Hall, Maltravers Street, Arundel, BN18 9AP or collection boxes in Arundel Post Office, Larkins in Tarrant Street and Hillside Stores in Jarvis Road.
The closing date for nominations is 5pm, Monday 28 October 2024.
This year’s awards will be presented at the Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday 29 November at 6pm.
