Weekend Work 14th-15th December
The contractor has encountered some difficulties in putting the steel sheet piles into the river bed at Tarrant Wharf. These need to be investigated and therefore this week they will be drilling some bore holes. This will entail working 7.30-18.00 on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th, though the Environment Agency tell us that the work should not cause more noise than we have previously experienced.
The EA are delivering flyers to residents most closely affected by this weekend work to let them know it is happening.
