Neighbourhood Plan 2014 - 2029

Arundel Neighbourhood Plan

Arundel's current Neighbourhood Plan passed referendum in 2014 and at the time was the first in West Sussex and 13th in the UK. Since then some of the legal and planning framework has changed, both Arun District Council and the South Downs National Park Authority are in the final stages of producing their own Local Plans and most relevant for Arundel we need to review several of the policies in the current Neighbourhood Plan, specifically on housing development, Town centre (economy/retail) and infrastructure changes (transport and access). The most important of these is housing to ensure that Arundel people control as far as is possible the developments that take place in the town. HOW CAN YOU HELP? During April, May & June we will be conducting some Task Group discussions to gauge residents views on Housing, Business, Social Interaction, Environment and Transport.
